About Damdoshi

C/C++ developper. I also write a little music and draw. Most of my work takes place in the Derision universe, which is a role playing game book I've written a few years ago.
I've created Hanged Bunny Studio to work on what I wish to.
I am the teacher of procedural graphics and C++ at Epitech Paris.

“Allan” on Steam GreenLight

It is with a great motivation that we are trying to put our LD36 game on Steam.
“Allan” is the first game made by one of us (Hanged Bunny Studio) during a Ludum Dare that we really want to continue.

This is our greenlight

Allan is a dark action and adventure game where you incarnate a wizard trying to find an ancien and mythical technology.
We are programming a complete quest, with several dungeons and a story around the original pitch.

It features an original view with lights, shadows and a “deep view”.
Its universe is the one developped in “The Derision”, a role playing game book we have written several years ago.

Please, help us to push it far! = D

“Allan” Post-Jam

Three years ago, I saw the Commodore 64 port of “Thunder Blade” and its top-down parallax.
For the Ludum Dare 31, I have tried raytraced shadows.
For the 35th, I have decided to mix both into a simple action game “The Infiltrator” that I did not manage to finish in time…

With this frustration in mind, I have participated to the 36th edition of the Ludum Dare and I now present…

“ALLAN”!

An action and adventure game in an almost 3D environment with shadows, darkness, shadows, blackness, and a little more shadows.
Made with only a few pixels, for lovers of old computers and old consoles and for curious people.

It is my 6th Ludum Dare, and I think this is the first time I wish to go one, to work and develop more my game.
I would love to create a bigger game on the same principles (with more items, monsters and puzzles, of course).
Maybe try the steam greenlight? I do not know

Please, play my game and tell me what do you think. : O
I hope you will enjoy it.
