I’m very tired. Is anyone else tired?

Well done to all you compo folks getting your entries in.

To all the Jammers… keep going! Nearly there! I’m going to sleep for a bit, then we’ll be ready for to get finished tomorrow.

We’re making progress, some levels exist, some art has happened.

Most importantly, our game features the most crucial of all ancient technology, a thing for hitting other things!





We are finished with our entry for MiniLD 62!

You know those massive, epic final boss battles we’ve seen in countless games? Where a mighty hero overcomes the massive constructs and battle cruisers of a nefarious, evil force (or is sometimes overcome themselves).

Well, spare a thought for the poor minions of the evil overlords, for them it’s just another day and their boss is riding them hard.

Hyperspace Warbattle: Daedalus Requiem is a game about one such peon, fighting in a mighty final battle against some would-be heroes.

Mini Dare – As Yet Untitled

Hi all!

We decided we’d give the mini dare a shot since we had such a blast finishing up our first ever game Cleanup of the Black Lagoon.

So – we approached this one slightly differently. Rather than fighting a final boss or playing the final boss, you are but one small cog in the final bosses plan.

I don’t want to share too much (we’re almost finished, honest *cough*) but here some fantastically rough concept art (I like to not plan too much because improvisation!) and a current screenshot of the main play screen.

We’re really looking forward to sharing our game with you all and continuing to contribute to this awesome community.

This has been our first Ludum Dare and we’ve had a ton of fun. However, our eyes are now running down our faces and our fingers are worn to calloused stumps.

Oh God, my eyes. I don’t know how much more screen-burn they can take.

Progress continues very nicely on our trash spitting simulator. Just balancing, music and sounds to do. Sob. Having lots of fun though!

Really looking forward to joining in on our first Ludem Dare! We’re going to be documenting our panic, incompetence and total mental and physical collapse through an audio log podcast as well.

There’s some great looking themes, very exiting.

We’ll be using Game maker, Logic X, GIMP, MS Paint, pens, pencils and copious amounts of coffee and beer to create a terrible mess and have a lot of fun (and maybe learn something about making games along the way).
