Progress so far after first day

First day is over for me, here is what I have


Tomorrow will be the day for art, music and some levels management (already have different level but I need menus and stuff)

But it’s too late for today …

Not sure about my idea

Few hours in I got an idea but I’m really not sure about it, what do you think?

You have to reshape a planet (for example into a triangle) by letting some missiles through

I’m in this weekend!

My main focus would be having a nice gameplay/game mechanic and adding audio for the first time!

In terms of tools I’ll be using

PhaserJS framework because it’s easy and quick

GIMP for the graphics because I don’t know anything else!

abundant-music.com for the audio since it’s seem easy and I never made music on the computer (And will have lots to do and no time to spend on learning new tools!)

A working brain on Saturday morning in order to get a good idea and stick with it for the weekend! (I’m looking at you brain of past Ludum Dares !)

Can’t wait to see what we all create!

Day 2 progress

Implemented the basic movements, menu, win and death.

Now to improve graphics and add some content like bonuses!

I am IN for LudumDare #34!

I’ll be using a language I just discovered, and experimented with, this week-end : Elm

I hope this time I can come up with an idea quick and stay with it!

If I dare to do graphics it would be GIMP but since I’m really bad at it I’ll try a game without graphics or with really minimal ones.

Can’t wait to see which themes made it to the votes rounds!
