Note: Post-Compo made changes are: fixed a bug where player could fall out of world; positioned the logo ingame-screen far left because it could cause confusion because it says ‘moon trip not available’ which was directed to the rocket flight but there wasn’t time to pixel a rocket, so it could let player to leave the game although it worked just fine. Also added a small loading text to not let the player wonder if the level completely was loaded because it is networked level data.

I will be participating at Ludum Dare 27 using an improved version of the framework I wrote for LD25.

For textures I use Paint, soundeffects sfxr and pixitracker for music. I just discovered pixitracker and it’s totally awesome — so definitely check it out if you have worries about making music for your game!!!

You just robbed a bank but your buddy with the car was too stupid to find you. Suddenly the police appears – and you are ON THE RUN! And your buddy with the money just drops it in his great haste. Go collect it – ALL of the money! And dont get busted by the police!

Hi there!

This is my first Ludum Dare. I started thursday to write a simple 2d Framework which uses HTML5 and WebGL. But I was not that productive and Friday in the evening I had only a box with textures running (you can find it here).

The contest started for me Saturday at 3am and I decided to just sleep and start later on. One day later, here is the progress on my game:

Features implemented:

– Tilemap

– Texture Atlas with animations

– Simple Collision

– very stupid AI – I need sth like A* for pathfinding but I dont know if I will manage it in time
