I have just started making the first level (I know it sounds stupid but I have spent most of the first day brainstorming and making a main menu). You are in a space ship travelling to Aegaeon and whilst avoiding asteroids.

I have just finished brainstorming and I have a concept.

It is the year 2347, Earth is running out of power, fast. You have been sent into space by the government to look for alternative fuel sources from other planets or moons. You land on Aegaeon, Saturn’s smallest moon (diamater of 500m), which has been emiting high levels of Zevatron Radiation. Zevatrons are a new power source that has recently been discovered on Earth. (One ounce of Zevatron liquid can power a city the size of New York for a whole year.) You land on Aegaeon and start farming the Zevatrons. Whilst you are farming the Zevatrons you are attacked by some inhabitants of Aegaeon, you have to fend them off whilst you are farming.

I was wondering if the kitten challenge is happening this Ludum Dare. Tell me please.

Whatever the theme is we are still going to try and incorporate some sort of birthday celebrating in our game. So look out for it!

This is our second Ludum Dare. Last time we didnt complete it but this time we will! (hopefully). We are entering the Jam competition.

We are using:
Engine: Unity3D
Graphicgs: Blender and Paint.NET
Music and Audio: Audacity and Incompetech
