Hello there! Here is another screenshot/update on my game! You are the golden dog named “Maddie” (hence the title “Mad Maddie”). The brown dogs chase you and are kind of stupid so you have to lead them into the oil– but beware; if you fall in, you instantly die, along with your chaser. There is a fair amount of decoration, and I still have more decoration to add. Just for fun, if you press “space” Maddie sticks her tongue out.

PS: I know oil isn’t very unconventional, but it’s not normally used as a weapon, sooo :)


Mobs and Licking

Hey there! I’ve added lots since my last post! I’ve now added two mobs: The dummy mob who walks around aimlessly (the brown dog), and the chasing mob (the grey dog). If you press your spacebar, your dog licks! (Licking will get “rid”(aka kill) of the other dogs). I have made the map a lot bigger too! I’m going to add more decorations soon, don’t worry :)

Hey there! My project so far is super-stable when it comes to mobs! Probably only dropped like 50 frames for 500 mobs! Pretty good!

Celestial Impact Progress

Hey there! I’ve made a bunch of progress on my game called “Celestial Progress” (not final name).

The point of the game is for your character to travel through the world, searching for the teleporter, to teleport to another world! But there’s one thing! The worlds are colliding!  Some parts of the world is already changed into parts of other worlds, so you have to hurry!

It took a while to fix up all of the bugs in the jumping physics, but I did do it! If you land on the side of a block, don’t fret! You can wall bounce up (as long as it’s a short ways!)

Stuff Added:

* Game Engine behind it all

* Levels + Drawable levels in Paint.NET/Photoshop

* Player

* Physics/Collision

* Support for mobs

* Title Screen

* Support for sound


Stuff To Add Still:

Mobs + Killing mobs/getting hurt (if the parkour isn’t too hard)

* More blocks/more levels(worlds)

* Player lives, and health

Time left in level

* Level score (by either collecting coins or killing mobs. Coins if no mobs.)

* When you are able to die, a gameover screen.

* A help screen on the main menu

I’m in this Ludum Dare for sure! I’ve finished two Ludum Dares, and didn’t finish one (solely because of the time I had).

Hello! Scuba Sam is really underwater now! Now with the new block, shell, and a new rock texture, the game looks a lot nicer! There are also two mobs right now, a smart crab and a dumb crab. The sinkhole is how you advance to the next level, you just step in it. It’s going good so far! Here’s a screenshot! (Click on the picture for full resolution :D)

Hi! My game Scuba Sam has gotten pretty far so far. There is a player with an animation, pixel-to-tile levels from Paint.NET so I can draw custom levels, support for mobs (which I’ll add soon!), collision, screen scrolling to follow the character, and a bit of other things that I can’t remember about. Anyways, here is a screenshot! (Click the picture for the actual resolution which looks nice)

Lava Race About Half Done

Now Lava Race is getting along better! It’s about half done! Also it’s being coded in Pure Java!

There is:

-Collision (Can do some optimization)

-Health (Almost Complete)

-Lava Raising

-The Ten Second Timer

-Infinite solid background

-Jumping & Falling (Jumping is buggy)

Coming Soon:


-The end room

-More levels

-Maybe monsters blocking your path

-Maybe projectiles to kill the monsters

Hey there! I have some more progress in Lava Raise! I finally added jumping! It’s still a little buggy but it’ll be sorted out eventually! 😀 I also sort of have animation for moving left and right!
