10s Sons & Daughters of Kubrat | Day 1

So we had some problems in the beginning with making Spine like Unity. This is our first skeleton animation:

And we have made the main menu and everything there

The first thing that came in mind was one game that I played long ago called 10 second war where you had to position the soldiers and make your moves for 10 seconds. And after all soldiers are played they are executed at the same time and chaos happens.

 

My idea is to make something similar, but every soldier will be different and instead of a shooter it will be more like an hack and slash roguelike. Here is what I have made so far:

Where ‘Хан Кубрат'(Kubrat) is a great Bulgarian ruler in the years 632–665

The rest of the idea is a surprise 😀

Today is my 19th birthday and I decided to make the party in the evening, so that I can participate in Ludum Dare later on.

We will be using:

  • Unity
  • Spine
  • Paint.NET
  • Sai
  • Git
  • Our brains and imagination
  • Other tools that we probably forgot to mention

A big fail and a fresh fun start

The whole day we did 2d top down game, but we ended up with a big broken fail. Then we gave up.

Then started doodling with scupris and 3ds max studio and we accidently ended up with this:

It inspired us once more and tomorrow we will come up with very simple game in Unity this time.

Dragonkin Evo – First post

Hi guys this is my first time in LD so wish me luck.

Here are the tools I have used so far

  • Language: C#
  • Libraries: SFML for .NET
  • Image Creation: Paint.NET

The game idea is you begin as a cell and playing different stages and evolving after each stage. And finally you become a dragon humanoid aka dragonkin. Each stage has different gameplay than the others.

Here are the stages that I have partly done:

Snake stage

And I’m planing for 2 more stages Lizard and Dragon
