Im so freakin excited about this. Ive given up the past few times and im pretty determined to pump out an actual product this time.

Language: Actionscript 3 / Flash / Flex

IDE: FlashDevelop

Library: Flixel,  or maybe Starling

Graphics: Adobe Flash and Photoshop

Audio/Music: bfxr, milkytracker if im feeling brave

going for a kind of bloody gory beat-em-up with ‘alone’ somewhere in there. for now, just screwing around with attachment points, so i can support hats and costumes and stuff. hatshatshatshats

2nd time around, hoping to top my last score!

Language/IDE: AS3 – Flixel w/ Flashdevelop

Graphics: Paint.NET for sprites, PS for fancy backgrounds if necessary

Music: will attempt milkytracker but will probably stick with mixcraft loops

Fuel: many bottles of mineral water and cheez-its

go vote kittens. now.

Updates: long and far between.

Sorry for this delayed post. A lot has happened.

First of all, my fam’s at a camping retreat, so i’ve had to relocate to local coffee shops. This is big, because now i can only dev on my netbook. GRAGGHHH.

Also, me being new to Flixel, I ran into a couple of bugs (one of them took 4 hours), so not much has happened framework wise.

On the brighter side, I created a new enemy, 5 more levels, and everything works! (hopefully).


Planning to add – 1 more weapon, 6 more levels, and a super-awesome secret mode to my game!

Ohaiguise, this is my first time in the competition thingy-ma-bobber.

Tools I will be using:

Code: Flixel/Flashdevelop

Art: Paint.NET and maybe some Adobe Flash for fancy schmancy cutscenes

Sounds: Bfxr

Music: Milkytracker, if I manage to produce something that doesn’t want you to throw yourself off a cliff.
