I will be in for the Jam if I can make the time!


I will be using Unity 3D, Photoshop, and Blender, and maybe Manga Studio just because.  If I get a change to make audio for it, that will be done in Pro Tools, and I will be using Google, of course. 😀

Going to play around with the theme in what little free time ihave this weekend. Going for the jam, but I will be working alone with Unity, Photoshop , and Pro Tools for my creation process.

I’m finally making visible headway, but of course, there are only four hours left.

Not sure if I’m going to get my basic entry into the compo or not. So far I’ve only been able to work about 17 hours for the whole thing, which is not enough!

Anyway, here is a new screen, in game finally, as I build my only level that will *hopefully* make it into the compo!

Not much of a sketch, I moved fast, mostly just so I had some sort of reference to work from while I model!

And the modeling is coming along…though it will have to wait as I need to go into work for a few hours

Here is the working title screen for my game! Of course, I won’t reveal too much of the plot as I go, but I started with something basic as I don’t have very much time to work tonight.

This will be my first attempt to…finish…anything really! But I love the crunch so we’ll see how it goes.


I’m going to be using Unity Game Engine, Photoshop and Blender for visuals, and Pro Tools and Audacity for the audio. I don’t plan on using any existing code, just drawing from what little knowledge I have and leaning strongly on the Google crutch.

I will also likely use a very basic sprite/texture animation script, which I will probably modify. You can find it here: http://pastebin.com/8gPqFU3D

I will try to make most of the sounds but I will inevitably end up using http://www.sounddogs.com/ and perhaps http://www.bfxr.net/

I’m going to do my best to update with video (using Camstudio & Windows Movie Maker), as well as art concepts, etc as I go.
