I continued working on my basecode, so here it is, just to follow the rules.
(new stuff: loader thingy, assets, tweens).
And as always, good luck to YOU.

That’s it. Good luck to YOU.
I have made a JS palette-swapper&basecode, but this doesn’t mean I’ll do anything this LD, so here is a LD anim just for you, and the basecode to look at <33
(heavily inspired by rxi’s love2d one, IF I make something I’ll tweak it a bit to adapt to the needs)
It’s done, I submitted my “game”, modestly called “Hi It’s Julian“. I let you judge of the quality of my game. luv. Also, I think that spending all this time in front of my computer screen is starting to make me loose my eyesight.
Oh, and a few screenshots for the sake of it :
You can play it here, if you’re lucky, and I wish good luck to yall <3
Ok, I wasn’t inspired by the game, so I spend most of my time on the introduction of the game. I made a fake torrent site, and you need to click “download” to play (not a real download obviously).
And because web development is great, I only managed to make it work on Chrome/Chromium/Opera. Tomorrow will be a painful day.
Well, I decided to MAYBE attend to this ludum darey. So I polished my javascript/HTML5 code. Plus I saw in the rules that i have to share it, so here you have it : ma base code.
You can also try the demo I made with it quickly just here. And because I like you, take this gif.
The font you see is a custom png font (made by me), with variable character weights (hell yeah) all analysed in javascript. Pretty fancy right. I added a screen scale parameter to the game, but it seems to only work well on Safari (image smoothing). And of course, a beautiful asset manager.
The Raycaster part is still not perfect, but I’ll only complete it if it fits the theme. (And don’t come too close to a wall, it might make your browser crash hihhii). And there are no collisions, because seriously who needs it?
And again, good luck people!
