After the finish shower…

Yes, after some coding and some small girlfriend fights, I have finished. Yes, I’m happy with my entry, although it came out a bit shorter and a bit soundless.

Still, my first text-only game and my first turn-based RPG game and I’ve been wanting to do an RPG for a while, so maybe this will make me more comfortable getting it off the ground, since the overall code architecture is not that bad, although at a certain point I did stop using setters and getters for things… Oh well.

Now I’m just hungry and cooking up some pasta… Tomorrow work continues on my projects, haha.

So, saturday is gone now, for me, I think… Screeens!

So this is my first post this Ludum Dare, but I’m up!!!

Anyways, I got 2 screens. Things are progressing nicely, I think, hope I get farther.

And another one with a bug…

A new indie game!

So I haven’t really been active in the community after the big Ludum Dare ended because I’ve been busy deepening myself in to the world of libGDX! Me and my cousin have made a game together (: and I thought “why not share with you guys?”. Kinda.
It’s called Monster Puzzle RPG and the battle system is sort of a mix of puzzle and adventure RPGs, kinda. In a way. Maybe.

I’m really looking forward to the 10 anniversary Ludum Dare and I hope to improve a lot for when the time comes! :)

Second day of rating! Copy Killer is amazing!

I picked up 3 more games that stand out for me!

And my list of favorite games grows! I have seen about 30 games, picked out 6, around 690 still to go!

Anyways, Copy Killer form PerilousPete is the best game so far, amazing gameplay and usage of the theme!

While preparing for the Ludum Dare, I had to get acquainted with the engine I would use, libGDX, so I made a test game that I also used for a school project and I just put it up for the Android Market! Check it out if you have an Android Phone!

Do you think I should also put my entry of Ludum Dare in the Android Market? Or is it too simple and rough?

Happy rating for you all!

My quick review of the games

So I’m rating the games and keeping note of the ones that I think “stand out” from the rest, after all, 750+ is a lot of games…

I’m keeping the list in a post in my blog, click here!

I’ll update at least once a day!

This is the second day, huh?

I actually have a commercial version of my game ready, but I couldn’t get everything up and working before the end of october, since actually selling the game can be a little bit complicated…

First, in Android Market, you need a Google AdSense account, and that can be complicated to get.

And in Desura, I’m still waiting to get accepted.

I’m a little bit sad about “losing”, but it was definitely a positive experience.

And as far as getting an AdSense account running, I’ve created a blog about my thoughts on game design and everything else. I’m still a newbie at the whole thing, though, this is my first blog.

Anyways, here it is: Stories of Game Design blog!

Hi everyone, screen comparison

And now they are like this:

What you guys think?
I’m also thinking of trying Desura too, on a desktop format, I hope they accept my game :(

I’m really looking forward to this!

This is my first interaction with any Ludum Dare, I’ve only heard of it recently, but I plan to enter the December competition and also this one.

I actually already have a game! (TAM TAM TAM)

But I always thought I would try to polish it more before releasing a paid version or doing any kinda of advertising. But I wanna participate in this challenge, so I’ll aim to make my game “payable”!

This is my game:

It’s an Android Game! I’m kinda of an story-centered game designer, so yeah. If you guys do play it, please leave your opinion on what it needs to be done(between a free and a paid version) to be worth an dollar!

Now we try to balance our lives between college and this challenge. GO!
