Learned quite a bit from the last 2 solo attempts. This is going to be clean and by the books .. I’ll be using Unity3d, Audacity, and Inkscape. See you later!

I’m out.

Yup. Tough theme. I have to keep working out the details of these bigger projects though. For anyone lacking a concept for the theme please use mine : Infinite Soul Train : You Only Get One Chance to shake your booty.

Good luck darianos.

Also in!

And I’m going to be in for as many more of these as I can spare the weekends for.  It’s always refreshing to take the knowledge of long-term project ‘shouldda-woulddas’ and condense those tricks into two days of DO IT NOW.

I’m probably sticking with Unity. I hope I can get a handle on the 2D toolset before this kicks off. Ehh.. Ableton + Audacity, Some kind of.. Graphic.. editing.. thing.. Really depends.

Same strategy. Stick a game to the theme in under an hour and make it happen.

See you there!

Angrycrow Presents : Water Closet PostMortem.

Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 6:57 pm

So .. I cannot begin to explain how great an experience this Ludum Dare was for me. I’ll be rating games all week. Also fixing ‘typos’ in one fell swoop probably by the end of the week. I learned about the importance of planning and scope. Plus just how tiring a couple days of focusing on a single project is. I cut corners where I could but spent the most time working on the engine of my game. It was more than worth it.

I didn’t have time to update during the competition but you can check out the devlog here :

Enclosed is a true story of how Ludum Dare 27 changed my life.  I hope everyone had such a positive experience as I did.

If you haven’t tried WaterCloset then follow the link to the entry here. I should have a linux build up before too long.

Thanks for the good times LD Community! I’ll be back again. ( they always come back )

I look forward to playing many of these games! Mine came out almost just right! I’d say it’s cooler than I expected it to be. Had to go with the idea that made me laugh the most.

I hope you too will enjoy (Ten Second) Water Closet!

Thanks LD for the good times!
