This is so annoying. I haven’t had any progress all because of this. I can’t figure out how to convert numbers. In Java, rotations are handled automatically and when you make the x go up, the image goes in the direction of the rotation. This is really annoying for collision detection. Can I shut this off?
Found a solution Thanks!
Why do rotations have to be so hard to implement?
I’m trying to implement rotations with Java and AffineTransform. I can’t make it rotate many times because the x is all messed up.
Got a nice 8 hours of sleep…
My idea consists of gravity. I have always wanted to test out physics and realistic gravity so here it goes.
I am in again!
Language: Java with eclipse
Graphics: Paint.NET, Piskel, maybe Gimp, Inkscape and Synfig
Music: FL studio, LMMS, maybe incompetech.com, Soundation or Abundant Music. Depends on how much time I have left
SFX: Might use SFXR if I have time or just Audacity.
Not that many changes.
What age is the youngest Ludum Dare participant?
Just wondering. I’m 14 and started when I was 12.
I have posted about this before but still have earned very little downloads and want to try to reach out to as many people as possible. My game is still hard to find by searching it’s name, but I have gotten fairly high with other searches using some SEO. If you would like to, I would be very happy for you to try my game! I just really need some downloads to get higher in the search rankings. Recently, I made an update where you can create custom levels and share them with friends. I soon will make a server to upload levels to and will make a graphics revamp. Right now they are not the best. But, I am not the best artist either. Anyway, please check it out and let me know what you think. Here are some pics.
Thanks!

Someone posted this cool tool http://ldstats.info/ajayajayaj that shows you the stats of your game. So, I decided to post them. Here are my ratings.
My graphics has really improved but everything else is not really.
Standings are pretty good considering my LD33 game was really rushed. Everything else is going down with the amount of ratings.
I’m barely close to finishing because I haven’t been able to work on my game a lot. I will try to work today and tomorrow.
I will be unable to work Friday night or most of Saturday and probably not any Monday. That limits me to just over a day. This game won’t be the best but I’ll do my best.
I know it’s almost Ludum Dare 33 and it is a bad time to post this but whatever. I JUST PUBLISHED MY FIRST ACTUAL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!!!!1!!!1! It is released to android and it might look like I already have two games up there, which I do, those are more like tests and joke games. This one I have worked on since November. I now know how much time it takes to polish games (since this is my first I might have messed a bit up but,). I made the music in this game which I kept trying to perfect and that wasted a lot of time. I still wanted to perfect more and more but decided to just release it because it would take an infinite amount of time to fix everything. So now it is out. I can’t wait to hear reactions from people and hope people like it. Right now there are 0 downloads because I just released it. There will be many updates including being able to share your custom levels through email and the ability (coming farther down the road) to upload your level to a webserver so everyone around the world will be able to play and enjoy your level. The server part will take longer because I am also going to figure out a way to rate user made levels by a difficulty rank so you can earn points by completing them too incase you beat all of the levels before I release more. The game is a puzzle game where there are two worlds. There is a character in each that each move in the same. You must make both characters reach their destination while going through portals and crashing into walls. Thanks for reading this long clump of text and thanks in advance for trying out my game. Hope you like it.
You might not be able to find it from searching since it hasn’t been downloaded that many times yet. It just shows a bunch of AntiViruses instead.
I will try to do the jam but I’m not sure if I’ll finish being gone monday (last day) and for half of saturday. But… I will try… I don’t want to break my streak (haven’t missed one yet) This will hopefully be my 4th Ludum Dare (Yay! 1st year anniversary). Here is what I hopefully will be using… Almost the same as last year. I might change some stuff but here it is.
