End of day 2 for Michell

Our day 2 of this jam is now finished, my friend Rémi is trying to fight a last bug before he falls asleep in the couch. Everyone else is gone back home, and before I do the same (it’s close to midnight here and we have been working all day), I thought I would share a small screenshot of what we have so far.

The game is a mix of a Tower Defence and a Beat ’em Up where the player needs to defend himself from demons that come from the underworld. To do so, the hero will grow powerful plants from the ground (that’s the “tower defence” part) or hit enemies with his different attacks (that is for the “beat ’em up”).

You’re a drug dealer, and you need to deliver your Snow to your customers. Luckily they spend most of their time in a loud night club. Use the music to find your way in the city, but beware: those damn cops are patrolling all around…

By the way, as a dealer you shouldn’t do that but… That powder you carry… It can give you nice powers, and make you see weird things. Just keep in mind: no supply, no business.

Move around with directional keys, [ZQSD] or [WASD]. Use <Space> to speed up and <Ctrl> to throw some coke and make cops around you see poneys.

Wow, that coke is pretty strong…

This game was created by 5 people. It was developed using Flixel, a Flash game engine. This is our first Ludum Dare but not our first game jam.
