Web version added for my compo entry (via emscripten)

I just added a web version of my compo game “VampShift: The Bloodening”, created using Emscripten. Hopefully now more people will be able to give it a try.

However, since this port was done after the compo ended, and by necessity contains some bug fixes, you should take that into account if you plan to rate the game having only played this version.

For the full LD Link with downloadable versions, look here.

“VampShift: The Bloodening” submitted for LD35 Compo

Well I managed to complete a game for the compo, “VampShift: The Bloodening.”

(LD Link with Linux & Windows downloads)

It’s a bit basic, but for a game made using just C & SDL in 48 hours I’m pretty happy with it.

Most of the development was livestreamed on Twitch, and the VoDs should be available to watch at http://twitch.tv/insofaras/profile . I’ll think about making a timelapse from them in the future.

For now though, I’m going to have a rest, then start playing some of the other compo games!

LD35: I’m (probably) in

I’m intending to compete in the compo this time around.

I’ll probably be making a simple game in C with SDL for Linux and Windows (maybe also ported to JS with Emscripten if I can get that to work).

This’ll be the first LD I enter. I’ve taken part in similar competitions in the past but I’m a bit rusty, so don’t have high expectations :)

If I don’t get anything decent done by submission time I might go for the Jam instead, or maybe just pretend the whole thing never happened… But it’s the taking part that counts right?

I’m also considering streaming the process on Twitch and/or creating a timelapse,  not certain yet.
