In the 26th ludum dare, I will be using:

-Language: x86 Assembly Language. I want to have an excuse for a bad game(just kidding, assembler is fun). My game will likely be a text based adventure, since that is easy to write.  I will be using fasm http://flatassembler.net/ , some include files,(probably only win32ax.inc), maybe some win32 dlls and libs like the gdi32 and user32 and possibly the OpenGL.inc (if I need graphics) file in the examples.

-Graphics: If I need them, Paint.NET

-Audio: Probably wont need, but for sounds sfxr and music Lmms

This is my second ludum dare, good luck everyone

P.S. Has anyone done an asm ld before?

my October challenge

Hopefully I will be able to make the October challenge this year. I have two games currently under development right now – a construction and management simulation game, and some not-yet-categorized game where you fly a ship around planets and stuff. I hope to use the latter for October challenge. Development is going well with it. The ship now turns, can accelerate, deccelerate and coast to a stop. Collision detection isn’t up yet, and won’t be for a while, since I will be writing the infinite map o’ planets now.(sorta like minecraft seeds for world gen, except with planets.)
