Not trying to put you down or anything, being 14 and programming is a great achievement, that’s when I started programming, but saying you’re restricted on your software based on your age isn’t technically correct. Engines like Unity and Unreal Engine are completely free (until you start making money off your game). Then you’ve got programs like Gimp for art, Blender for 3D models, Audacity, BFXR, Bosca Ceoil and more for audio that are all completely free.

If you don’t have access to your game due to other reasons then that’s understandable but you can get very very far with only using free programs, in my opinion there’s absolutely no reason why you’d need to pay for anything when doing game design. Some paid programs might have better tools and improve your workflow a bit more, but the free tools can do everything the paid ones can if you know how to use them.

Of course just because Unity is free and is what most of the indie game development community uses don’t switch to it just because of that, use whatever you’re comfortable with. But don’t feel restricted in what you can use because you don’t have the money, there’s many great free tools that you can use.

You are completely right I know those engines but I don’t wanna use Unity or unreal,
I mean ic ant get ink “Spine” or “new Adobe products” even if I would pay them cause you need to be 18 to make these contracts with Adobe CC I already have blender, gimp, audacity, lmms, and much more, but I know some programs I’d like to have, but I can’t get them either cause I can’t complete the payments or such.
I’m not complaining I just mean that I don’t have access to the tools some older people here have that’s why I wrote this! I mean you judge a professional different from an young learning dev
