Finding partners to work with

Hey dudes and dudedinas!

I would like to know, where you find your partners to work with? Is there a special place or website, which is only dedicated for teaming up with people? It looks like a lot of people are searching for partners to join the jam, instead of living the life of a lone wolf. And if there isn’t any place, how about creating one? Like an extra steam group only for this purpose to keep the main group clean? I imagine one with multiple sub-forums like “Looking for a team” and “Team looking for more”. Or would it be possible to add this sub-forums to the main group?
These are just thoughts and ideas and I dont want to mess anything up.

So, how do you think about this thoughts, especially PoV? Or are you even planning such a feature for the new website?

There are websites like Teamups, Teamstarter and similar. Some game sites may have forums for that purpose (GameJolt has).

People here suggested few more places to team up: (note that I have also written answer which is more or less like this comment).

PoV might implement that feature in the future, but I think it is low-priority (it would be reasonable to make it after Teams accounts).

Ahh, thank you Knowledge (aka JM), for this helpful answer!

I’ve bookmarked all the sites, especially the GameJolt forum looks quite promising.
And yes, let’s see how the site will evolve! :)

    I did this last time:

But I’m not sure how useful it ended up being since it was never stickied and disappeared into history rather soon, tho I did leave a comment to notify every person I added on their original posts, but since this site also doesn’t have a notification system, I’m not sure how well that worked out either. :p
