I’m in last min post.

Tech I will be using:

Engine: Unity 3D 5

IDE: Visual Studio 2015

Image Editing: Photoshop CC

Audio: Audition/Audacity

Build Script: Cake

CI Server: Team City

Various free tools off this site :).

Base code: https://github.com/wiltaylor/UnityStandardProjectPackage РThis is just skeletons for menus, credits etc. I will also put my build scripts in here too later on tonight too.

Other Libs:

This time I am going to play around with 2 extra libs that look interesting.

  • Unity3D.IncrementalCompiler – This will let me write unity code in C# 6 which means I get all the nice syntax sugar from Visual Studios 2015.
  • Zenject Dependency Injection IOC – This is a IOC container built with Unity in mind. In my day job I am a big fan of Autofac so will see how this goes.

    incremental compiler is cool, it compiles faster and c# features are nice
    but at some point compilation would just freeze, and I had to remove it(at least it is very easy to remove).
