What do the numbers mean on the rate page?

I saw the legend explaining D, R & C but what’s the number outside the parentheses?

And what does D indicate? Should it be high/low/other?

I asked a mod, and they said only the illuminati knows about the number outside haha. As for the D, it seems like the lower that number is, the higher the game on the list. Games with way more Coolness than Ratings had numbers around 30, equal C and R gave a D of about 50, and then more Ratings than Coolness, I saw around 60 a lot.

I’m not sure if this is still correct but anyway:

The Default score goes up and down as ratings are given and received. It is simply a priority rating for your game that tells others that it deserves more ratings than it currently has.

    It is computed as D = 50 + R – 5 * sqrt(C’), where C’ = min(C, 100)

The lower the rating, the higher the priority. If you rate 25 games, that should earn 25 ratings back, but there are diminishing returns as you go above that, as it’s better for everyone if we get ten games with 25 ratings, than one game with 250 ratings.

Thanks CptDustmite, so to recap the lower the D the more it should be rated.
