We made this Jam, because we are new into gamedev and we really needed a challange to exercise criativity and our skills. Also and no less, we made it for fun.

The Concept

Really glad that the team embrace my early ideia of making an GameWatch game style. I think it matches very well on theme two buttons. Only left and rigth but a lot of fun. I remember in my childhood spending hours on those games. Team liked it and started adding ideias, new stuff, cutting off any very complicated idea to the concept. And we soon realized that matched in the ‘two’ themes!

The Bad

We are 4 programers, none an true artist.
I Spent too much time on the two main character art, I’m slow!
Real life got me, letting me work only very late at night on three days.
Could put more lil animations FX.
Only one level! And its poorly finished.
Going too hard too fast.
Some pizzas bugs on background.
Got stuck with github windowns client and 4 programers lol. But one of my team is good at it and fixed the problem.

The Good

We decide very fast the concept.
We got an early prototype.
We learned how to manage team with slack and github.
Could put unity physics and still make great pizza piles.
Falling pizzas are funny!
Deliver motoboy moving around added another dimension to the game.
Music is hilarious, congrats to my team of those great finding.
The visuals – simple vector art but people seems to like those chars.

The Result

We are very pleased with the results, and plan to make this into an Android free game and share our code. Anyone can make you ‘panic’ game!
There still time to test and vote Pizza Panic!
