Update #3: There’s still hope!

Some gameplay footage from the latest version of my game. Left-click shoots sparks of light that can free souls from the enemies while right-click emits a pulse of light that repels enemies and supports souls (letting them reach the light). The goal is to support enough souls to overwhelm the despair of the dead with the hope of the afterlife and reincarnation.

I’m trying desperately to make this game shine in the time I have left. Sadly I had to cut a lot of planned features and the story’s definitely not going to make it into this version. I intend to work on this game more after the Ludum Dare, but in the meantime… my goal now is just to make this fun and polish it up a bit more.

Some things I’d like to do before I submit it: Add other enemies, scale the difficulty with your progress and improve the win/lose screens. Back to work!
