Are we stoked yet?

Good evening all!  Things look great this time, for my eleventh time in.  There is no crisis for once attempting to impede my work (the worst one thus far was an almost evacuation when the gas company found a gas main leak across the street).  If got food prepped in advanced; software up to date, and absolutely nothing I can blame not having a great time developing a game this weekend.

As usually, here’s my tools of the trade:

Programming: Visual Studio 2015, C#, Monogame 3.4, Notepad++.

Graphics: EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN.  I do have a lot of software for doing art, but I am a slow artist so I’ll likely stick the usual pixel art in Paint.NET, with some sketching on paper of Sketchbook pro.

Sound: Famitracker, Audacity, and an Ukulele.

Base Code: My custom engineported to Monogame.  As always I suggest taking a peak and stealing the good bits if you like it.

Font: For any text display, I have been using a free font  from, specifically Proggy Square.  I have converted it to a spritefont (PNG) for use in monogame (both full size, and something that fits in 8×8 for the NES style graphics I aim for).  The original font and converted formats can be downloaded Here.

Also as a side note, I think I got one of my coworkers to compete this time so I’m am eagerly excite to see what he’s come up with.
