Some local co-working spaces have tables available for teams to use if you want a central location. Come along and grab a space at the Pre-drinks.
We have a real world event here in Manchester, UK.
http://madlab.org.uk/events/manchester-game-jam-dec-2015/
Unfortunately it has sold out already!! There is waitlist for in case anyone drops out though. We may have to get a bigger venue for LD35.
Oh man, I would of loved to go to the Manchester one!
Damn it, haha. The one event in England, and it’s sold out! Just as well, I’m four hours away.
I wouldn’t recommend going all the way to Manchester for Ludum Dare for like 4 hours, it’s pretty low intensity casual hanging out with mates type jamming.
3 Ludum Dare games from Manchester have gone onto consoles though so apparently there’s a charm.
Jamalaide will be hosting a LD34 meetup in Adelaide, South Australia:
http://www.jamalaide.org.au/jams/ld-34
