#LD33: Atomic Vikings are IN again

Atomic Vikings are IN again

We are really proud that this is our 6th Ludum Dare together as a team.  We are really happy that we can join again into this awesome jam. Last LD we got a really bad rank in overall and that was  not so amazing for us. Let’s see what we can do this time. Can we beat our rank #10 game?

There is one new thing coming up. As you all know we are a bit “oldschool” an we are coding all over stuff from the scratch on in Java.

We had always problems in the past to get a web version running or it took hours to create a playable desktop version. This days are now over. C64Gamer was sitting down the whole weekend and he has created a complete automated deployment system with Maven + Jenkins + Git + Java.

What does that mean ? It means that you are able on every commit we do in the master branch of our git system to play 2 min later the newest version directly on our website. YEAHH!!  MAGIC :-)

  1. i am also doing in libgdx… but very new to the framework.. in this jam i am learning and developing the game in libgdx, any tips for a newbie in libgdx…

    • Hey hey,

      this sounds really cool. Tips for beginners … uhm: Don’t think too big. Try to learn the basics before the jam starts. Try too think small. Don’t plan to much features.
