Woke up today feeling kind of ill, and with a lot of stress to worry about the next two weeks and a horribly unfun prototype the night before, I think it’s safe to say this time is not a victory.
Next August, though. Next August I will be hopefully less busy and not make the foolish mistake of upgrading to Phaser 2.3.0 from 2.2.3 and then being hopelessly lost when things go wrong. Oh well. I have no regrets, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and forced myself to do things I would have never thought of trying before. A game based around reflecting flashlights off of mirrors proved to be less interesting in execution than in concept and at least now I know this!
Hey man, same sort of story for me. Very disappointing LD for me. I was really excited at first, but over time my game started to prove to be ‘not fun’. And I started losing interest. Which is a real shame cause I thought I was onto something.
Yeah, I thought I had a neat idea but oh well. Next time! There’s always a next time.
