Labyrinthian (Compo)

It’s been my first Ludum Dare in a year and it was a quite a ride. For those wondering, it’s a game where you’re trapped in a labyrinth of monsters and each successive stage loads in behind you when you’re not looking (thus condensing the entire game into one screen, in a sense).┬áThe game had a lot more potential in it, but I’m quite happy with how it turned out and the new code/mechanics I created during the event.

I don’t know how to send a message, so I’ll leave a comment here.
I’m the creator of Eschaton. It is normal that the game got stuck at act 3, scene 1. You must solve the enigma to go past ; I added a hint and the solution in my entry.
Labyrinthian has a very interesting mood, by the way. One of the best made of the games I tested so far!

    • Oooh, very clever. Of course, without a hint and with state of most Ludum Dare games I assumed it was glitch; I probably should read the description more closely. When I relaunched it today it started right back at the beginning though… guessing the cookie expired or something.

      Glad you liked Labyrinthian.
