Rezoner – Hostile Planet

Each sprite took me about 1-2 hours to make. There is more palette than position animation.
Software: aseprite

“DOS quality” planet – take a texture – decrease color depth (without dithering).
Software: gimp

I’ve wasted the whole first day rewriting the codebase/framework from scratch…. because yes.
Software: sublime text

TAL-BassLine-101 and TAL-U-NO-LX – 60$ each – freakingly authentic retro synths
FLStudio remains my DAW of choice

I am playing a lot of real keys lately – torso selfie with devcat – and my FAMOUS “handmade tracker keyboard” (:

I am on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) – having expo to switch between application is crucial for managing production. After 10000 hours I have been able to get WINEASIO+Jack working – I am not updating Ubuntu ever again.

I have made a splashscreen earlier – but decided not to put it in game to have undisturbed flow (no credits, menus etc)

And as usual – the first day I was making a whole different game….
