We like creative inputs, so decided to make “clap”py bird. We have long ways to go to make clap detection robust, but here’s a sneak peak:

    Great idea and from the video it looks like you have the clapping mechanism working pretty good already. I tried to do a sound based game twice for a jam and always failed to reliably do the required audio processing. I am excited to see what the final result will be like :)

    Thanks! audio processing is definitely challenging. I don’t think too many developers are looking into this area either.. a lot of custom audio processing to make it work. we’d be happy to share more about audio processing to the community as well!
