Gameplay WIP

Zeik here! We’re well underway with our Darkest Friday game and the gameplay is coming together. We’ve got typing, we’ve got partial text recognition and enemy highlighting, we’ve got win/lose conditions, and it is actually a difficult game already. Going to keep chugging along on the programming front, adding real enemy assets and text boxes as well as more UI that is severely lacking at this point (it’s all console output, yay!).


Here’s a screenshot with an ugly mix of programmer art and early art assets. If you look at cake’s updates or go on the livestream you’ll see the current (much more beautiful) state of the art.
