Found some old hobby code on floppy disks today…

back at uni I used to make modding tools for Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun.  Models were voxels, and I made the voxel editor:

And these 13 yo exes run under wine on osx today :)

Gives me fresh enthusiasm for LD 28!

There’s more pics and descriptions of what I found on my blog:¬†williamedwardscoder.tumblr.com

hey really interested in this sort of thing, what programme did you use to make these?

Awesome idea to use voxels for a 2D game. Some may suck at perspective (<- ME) and that allows to rotate the models freely by still being able to pixel/voxel them.

If I'd find a floppy with old code of me it would be a QBasic written fake-chat-bot. :/
