Just a summary on my LD #26 experience.

I tried too hard in my first LD48, so went into this one thinking simple, simple, simple, etc..  I huzah’d when the theme of minimalism popped up  =)  I went for a puzzle game with simple shapes, rules and gameplay.  One major goal was to make the player do very little to play and I think I succeeded.

I spent about 2 hours brainstorming, 6 hours coding, 2 hours in media content, and about 6 hours polishing.  I completed 95% of the game in the first sitting, leaving me lots of time this weekend to read posts and check out entries.  I then had a few last minute ideas about my own game,  went back and polished.

Now, as we near the end of the 48 hour period, I want to wish supernatural entity speed to everyone who is still applying their own last minute changes, and thanks to ludum dare for hosting a fine weekend of adventure.   Best wishes also to the Jam participants – I’m amazed at all the great work everyone is doing!
