Hello darers!

I’ll take part in the incoming 48h compo and that will be my 2nd attempt to LD :)

After the last LD I’ve been working on a 2.5D engine and I was wondering: can use it for my game during the competition?

Yes, as long as you’re sure to release the code ahead of time.

To expand on what johnfn said, the rules (http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/) state you can use personal libraries so long as you “declare” them by sharing with the community before the compo starts. It’s not clear if the library needs to be permissively licensed, but I’ve always assumed the intention was it should at least theoretically be legally useable by other participants.

    Ooook thank you guys 😉
