Cheered on by comments from reviewers, I took to making a post competition version of FirePower.
My primary goal was addressing some of the feedback by looking to add depth and end game elements. In addition, I wanted to spin the new version off in about the same amount of time that the original version took.
I think I was successful in both of those goals. I completed the update in about 25 hours bringing the total for the whole game to around 50.
- Dynamic terrain
- New elements to deal with
- Infinite replayability – the game procedurally adjusts difficulty sliders
- Better graphics
- Better balance
- Better audio implementaiton
