Capture Path – The never ending game launched!!

I started out working on the Capture Path game back in July, 26th. The original idea was to finish the game within 3 hours, but as you can see from my dev log, and from the days coming after that, that I was not able to deliver my promises to myself.

Then, I participated in the LudumDare 48 and even though I had my weekend already planned out I was able to squeeze out few hours.

I wasn’t sure that I would able to complete the game, but I did, and it was one of the best things I’ve done so far in so little time

So, when I heard about the October Challenge I knew something good should be happening :)

Back-story: I’m in the Apple’s iOS developer program from November 2011, but never released any app. All my earlier prototypes died at some point during the development, either due to lack of enthusiasm or getting infinitely distracted by some other ‘better’ idea or just discovering a similar title already on the same market.

The October Challenge made me finish and launch the game.

The game was released on October 26th, but I was too busy partying that I forgot to inform the internet.

So, here I am done with the October Challenge, check out my game on the AppStore,  or the game’s webpage for screenshots and gameplay video and stuff. At the time of writing, there are already 3 downloads.
