Some experimentation with game world objects and terrain.

Saturday was spend experimenting with the game world and the dynamic terrain generation. Christian finished up a terrain generation script while Rob created several models to populate the world. Zenas worked on getting a menu system set up for the game. The highlight for the day came when Rob stumbled upon a crazy looking world where the trees, instantiated at a huge size relative to the player were randomly rotated and thrown down upon the landscape. Needless to say, we were so impressed with how it looked that we decided to keep further experiment along this path to really awesome results.
