Ok so I decided I would try this time, for the first time. I won’t have the whole 48h because of a big big family event, but no problem, I’ll sleep there xD .

I’ll most likely do it in Java, maybe with the LWJGL, slick for the PNG loader, eclipse, jarsplice, paint.NET, sfxr, musagi and that should be enough. I’ll just use 2 classes for 3D Maths I’m writing just in case I use OpenGL :) .

Maybe I’ll put my stream on on twitch TV to get a record of my job, but as it’s my first time I’m not sure it would be the best stream, and imagine if I fail xD .


EDIT: Here’s my 3D lib, it’s unoptimized but still better than the default OpenGL Matrix system for what I could have to do :p


Have fun, it’s completely understandable. I didn’t include gluPerspective, but it’s easy to generate.

EDIT2: Added some things like a really really basic OpenAL support.

I feel better now I know how I’ll handle sound btw xD As it isn’t “math only” anymore:

    If you don’t have a host in mind, you might consider the free Java and Processing hosting I offer at StaticVoidGames.com.

    It’s still a work-in-progress, but at the very least it gives you an easy way to showcase your game that’s prettier than dropbox. It’s free, and you can specify your own banner ads to hopefully make some money.

    Updated my library, it contains 7 classes now.
    I think it’s still really fair, and I’ll maybe go ahead for a game template.

    I want to make things as far as I can. It’ll just be as if I had used a common library, but I’ll never think as well as one their creator.

    Btw, thanks, I already have a VPS for hosting&co 😉 .
