    My game got into the top 20 for both Innovation and Humour (#19 and #17 respectfully)!

    That’s just really weird.

    My coolness was very poor as I had my finals immediately after the compo through to a couple of days before the end of the judging period.

    Anyway, I’ve since learnt HTML5 canvas + ¬†Javascripty type stuff so expect my next game to be much more accessible.

      Congratulations… :) I played your game and thought it was a new and interesting concept, well done!

      Unfortunately I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but it might be a case that your high spot in the rankings could be due to the weirdness in the way that final scores are worked out for games.

      If you have read/seen my post here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/05/14/are-the-results-fair/ it is explained in more detail.

      As it currently stands the rankings and final scores for each category isn’t a true representation of how well every game did. The current system favors games that had very few plays/ratings and these games will end up higher up the rankings tables because of this.
