    First Ludum Dare!

    Hello everyone!

I am officially announcing my entry in to the Ludum Dare compo! This is my first rodeo, so hopefully I end up with something finished!

    My tools will be:

    • Unity3D
    • Cinema4D
    • AdobePhotoshop

I don’t know what I’m going to do for music yet as I really have no experience making music or sound effects. So that should be interesting…

I plan on Live streaming the whole thing, haven’t decided yet which portal I will be using though so that will come later.

To get started I purchased MCfunkyPants new book The Game Jam Survival Guide as a primer to hopefully getting through this.

Also, seeing as I’m using Unity3D, I am wondering if anyone else taking part in the compo can point me to any good Unity3D libraries to use to speed up the initial set up process. I’ve been using Unity3D for about a year now but I am interested to see if there is a quality framework set that is already out there.

Thanks and Good Luck to everyone!

    1. I normally use the FPS Tutorial on Unity’s website for some quick scripts such as lockCursor, headbob, etc. Oh and make sure you have most of the standard assets ready.

^^ this only allowed for the jam though I’m pretty sure.

Glad to see someone else using Unity Tokken18!
