I’m not going to let the fact that Ludum Dare is the same weekend as the finals for the Stanford Engineering online artificial intelligence class stop me from having a go! I’ll just count taking the final exam as a “break”.

Last time I got so distracted by watching other people’s livestreams that my game never escaped my mind. This time it will be different!

  • Code / Language: Java? Flash? HTML5?
  • Library / API: Slick? Spaceport.io? Google play?
  • Graphics: Paint.net
  • Platform: Computer? Web?
  • SFX: bfxr!
  • Music: This is getting complicated…

It’s the same weekend, huh? Oh well. The midterm was pretty easy anyway and it probably doesn’t overlap completely. What do you think of the class?

    • It’s great! A little easy except when there are trick questions. But interesting and easy to follow along with. It seems like there is a pretty wide range of opinions on it. What’s yours?

It’s really interesting and brings up heaps of useful concepts, I’ve been trying to apply some to music analysis (like audiosurf except very prototypey). The difficulty level is about what I’d expect from a second year university subject, or maybe a little bit higher but having done 4 years it’s pretty easy in comparison.

It’s so awesome to find other people taking the Stanford AI Class on LD. 😀
Let’s just hope the final isn’t that long – it’s supposed to be about as long as the midterm, right? 30 mins of actual solving, two hours of checking the results, hehe.
