Late :(

I gave up on my original idea and didn’t think I was going to do a mini-ld game this time, but then suddenly within a couple hours of the deadline I decided to whip together something bad but playable.

PLAY ONLINE

On a happier note, I did make four games this weekend!  The other three were for Klik of the Month Klub.  over here.

Edit:  Timelapse!

Ludum Dare _and_ KotM? Have you no shame, man? No dignity? No sense of fair play?

This is actually pretty fun and challenging! My current best score is 55. I keep forgetting I can leap to any number and don’t have to move to only adjacent blocks. Also… is that Admiral Ackbar!? Great that you made 4 games this weekend.. wow. I don’t even know what Klik of the Month is so maybe I should check your link out above. :)

I found this (http://tr.im/Pmar) on a Google image search and started out trying to mimic it, but yeah it ended up looking more like Ackbar.

True story: This is actually a game idea I had over ten years ago, filling out those bubble sheets for tests in school. I used to imagine that all the bubbles I filled in would fall down the page and some poor guy at the bottom had to try and dodge them. It’s kind of satisfying to finally actually make something like it.

Klik of the Month Klub is wonderful. I do recommend checking it out. http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/44

haha thanks for that original picture inspiration… even if it did turn to Ackbar ;) I’m glad this minLD theme managed to help you realize a 10 year old game idea too… hehe. Thanks for those KotM links.. Pirate Kart you say…?
